The Johnstone Fund for New Music
The Johnstone Fund for New Music has been established at The Columbus Foundation.
The fund seeks to:
1) support the performance of new music in Central Ohio, and
2) commission new works by promising composers. Established by Jack and Zoe Johnstone, this fund hopes to support, inspire and encourage new artistry.
The program guidelines are as follows:
Amount: Up to $5,000.
Eligibility: Any 501(c)(3) performance organization in Central Ohio.
Application: One-page letter summarizing the project, explaining the financial support requested, and giving the dates and locations of the planned performances. The application is a rolling process with no deadline.
